I have ATT Yahoo high speed DSL and have set up Evolution to work with it. IIRC, you only have to set up the correct pop3 and smtp accounts correctly and of course have the right username at sbcglobal.net and password. The accounts are:

pop.att.yahoo.com
smtp.att.yahoo.com

Personally, I don't care for Evolution and would use Tbird instead if I didn't instead use Att Yahoo web mail. You get your username and password when you sign up with ATT for your dial up or DSL service.  You may find this helpful:
