how to get the topic of mail lists that I most interested in?

Some mailing list offers a list digest, so you'll only get 2 or 3 emails 
per day, containing all post between each digest. It has a drawback 
though, the digest is not real-time, you'll have to wait till the next 
digest come to join a thread.
