problem adding s/w source [SOLVED][not quite]

Looks like I spoke too soon. Running apt-get update gave:

W: Failed to fetch 
ftp://ftp.mondorescue.org/ubuntu/8.04/dists/free/non-free/binary-i386/Packages.gz 
Unable to fetch file, server said 'Failed to open file.

At least it looks like contact was made. Seems like I'll just have to 
check the site for updates.
