hard drive permissions

Niles,   I had rutebook at one time and had started reading it when I 
changed  my first hardrive     Like a dumb bell I was lookiing for it as 
Rootbook.  Using the above command in root home and in "user doug" I 
get  command not found.  I am using "sudo" .  I checked in synaptic and 
properties just in case there was an error in the comand you posted but 
everything looks good there.  What am I doing wrong here.  Thanks    Doug
