Can not access my slave drive...Need help!

In my fstab, it was not in there, so I added the /dev/sdb1 plus the 
UUID= xxxx xxx xxx etc, /   ext3   relatime,errors=remount-ro    0 1

It still will not mount, so now I have forgotten how to create the 
/mnt/sdb1...???
