hi,
When I try to create my ad-hoc network on my Ubuntu 8.04, I can not to set the essid of the ad-hoc network that I create.
when I input "sudo iwconfig rausb0 essid "adhoc-network" and restart it. I still get following:

lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

rausb0 RT73 WLAN ESSID:off/any Nickname:""
          Mode:Ad-Hoc Frequency=2.412 GHz Cell: 62:60:60:60:60:60
          Bit Rate=11 Mb/s
          RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Link Quality=0/100 Signal level:-121 dBm Noise level:-115 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0
Also, when I insert my D-Link DWL-G122 C1 into my PC, something strange happens. If I press any key on the keyboard, It appears many of it. For example , I press 'a' , I get "aaaaaaaaa".
Can any body help , thanks!
