Need to install Ubuntu via USB

I was able to boot Ubuntu 8.10, but the Dell wireless card does not work 
with 8.10.

I will take a look at those, thanks.  I have been going through the 
Ubuntu Wiki page installing from USB.

I tried that first, but the alternate is not very good with USB devices. 
  It always looks for a CD then fails.  I know there is a fix, but it is 
extensive.  I may try that if all else fails, but I first assumed if the 
live install was not working that the alternate may not either.

When installing from CD I always like to use the alternate CD.
