Intrepid Sound Problems

    Also tried the sure to work which is:

sudo killall pulseaudio
sudo alsa force-reload
System > Preferances > Sound and change everything to Alsa.

    After doing this the sound does not work as usual. I think there is 
a huge design error in Intrepid.
