To be fair, if you even know that there is such a thing as a menu.lst
file, you are *not* a complete 'noob'.

And I have always felt that that should be part of the upgrade process.
If I am going to allow my system to be upgraded and/or modified by
someone else ( that includes the update manager ), then why would I not
want grub to point to the new kernel?
