Enable apport, by using :
sudo nano /etc/default/apport
then change the =0 to =1 if it is =0
save the file, then do
/etc/init.d/apport start
Now use OpenOffice, when it crashes, it should give you an error and
ask if you want apport to send the message about it. Let it, and give
it a good description.
