Panel lost in KDE4

Hi,
I don't know about KDE4 but there is something called "kicker" in KDE 3.x.
Whenever I had my panel ( I use only one) missing for some reason, I used to
run kicker. Press Alt+F2 and type "kicker" (without the quotes of course)
and press ok. You should have your panel back. At least worth a try rather
than renaming your .kde directory and stuff like that.
PS: If you rename your .kde directory, KDE will generate a new one. All your
settings will be gone (Font size and other such customizations), as they
will be no longer accessible under .kde .
