missing *.desktop file

I remember somewhere reading that I should make a bug report for
packages that are missing their *.desktop file, so they don't
automatically integrate with Gnome or KDE or what-have-you.

I'd include the file myself, but I haven't learned how to make a
*.desktop file that is a sub-menu -- this package is a collection of
many little X apps.

Each little X app works fine, you just have to start them from an xterm.

[by the way, I was unable to submit a bug report using 
/usr/bin/reportbug.  I got this error:

... which is weird, since that's YOUR smtp server that YOU guys
