End user antispam choices in Ubuntu...

New question.

When I was running XP I used the Spampal or K9 spam filters with Thunderbird.

What similar options might I pick from using Thunderbird in Ubuntu. I don't
run a mail server set-up. I'm just looking for a suitable tool to stand
between my provider and TBird to augment Thunderbird's own spam filtering.
A pointer to some notes on how to set things up would be useful as well, so
I don't have to burden the list with mundane 'uh, how do I do this' questions?
