Hi everybody
I try to prepare an USB external HDD for my data backup.
Already tried a few times either with Ubuntu 7.10 GParted 0.3.3 or 4 !?
without real success !

Intention:
1st prim partition ca 20GB NTFS for M$ WinXPP's Documents and Settings
data
2nd prim partition ca 10GB ext3 for all Ubuntu /home data

I had token a screenshoot of the error message and cannot find it
again !? ;-(
The error message says something like following:

Cannot mount volume ...
... and details describes ...
... mount point cannot contain the following characters:
newline, G_DIR_SEPARATOR (ususally /)

Without labels the partitions are displayed as: /dev/sdb1 and 2
With labels (GParted 0.3.6) I do name them as LD142uHome resp LD132wData

What am I doing / getting wrong here ?

TIA for your advice, guidance, help, hints and suggestions. ;-)
Cheers, svobi
