Ubuntu member of a Windows 2003 domain controller ( active directory )

i have setup my ubuntu machine to a be member of a Win2k3 ADS if work fine
but when i start the machine i need wait sometime ( i really dont check how
long but is more that 2 minutes ) for get login with some of the user of the
ads , i get that the server can't contact , if i do alt+crlt+f1 login with a
local user and ping the domain controller it work fine and resolve the
address too , what i can do to solve that problem ?
