Hardy on an Aspire 7520

1. Mic: - Try double-clicking the volume slider (I'm assuming you're
in Gnome) and you should be presented with a series of sliders.  Try
Edit->Preferences in this window and adding likely tracks (Capture,
Input, etc) and raising the volume.

2. Hibernate: - I have no idea - check your logs if possible and look
for clues.  You might need to change boot options - hopefully someone
with more knowledge can help you here

3. Buttons: - Try System->Preferences->Keyboard Shortcuts.  Click on
the item you'd like to assign, then press the button.
