Recognizing Drives

Hello,
   
      I'm new here but I've got several questions, and I'm not sure that I'm in the right section for answers.
   
  I would like to know how secure that one can make Linux.
   
  The reason that I ask this is I've been stalked here on the internet by a rather sophiscated hacker.
   
  We've spent around $4,000.00 on six Pc's and I've had one Mac that this person found two holes  in it's OS to exploit.
   
  I had an I-Mac G-5, running Tiger 10.4 on it.
   
  I would like to purchase an out of the box Linux IF it could be "super secured".
   
  We use an external firewall called 'Alpha Shield' (www.alphashield.com) and I'm thinking of using a wireless router with a firewall too.
