Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 LTS CPU is running 100% after upgrade

1. use top or system monitor applet in gnome to see which process is
consuming the CPU.
2. keep upgrading system. Its only a beta system, we can not ask too
much.
3. try to remember which component upgraded to cause the problem. If
that one is really the bug, report it.
BTW, I use gnome but I do not have your problem so far.
