What is the easiest way to install Hardy on a separate partion?
Here is the situation:
> and pointing root back to his gutsy sdb1:
sudo grub
grub> root (hd1,0)
grub> setup (hd0)
grub> quit
Reboot (to hard drive).
And idea : could be a program to automatically do this with a script from a backup grub configuration file ? (when installing, Ubuntu would backup the configuration file - optionally and preferly to more than one place: USb keydrive, floppy, second hard disk...- so it can be used when rolling-back / restoring ).
Regards.
