Hardy. PulseAudio. How does it work? I have no sound.

Well welcome to the crowd. I was using Fedora 8 and had major audio
problems and the solution was to disable pulse audio which many if not
all users did. There were the odd balls that said pulse audio works fine.
I will stay right here with my current version until I see a way to
disable PA on Hardy.
