Removing redundant dictionaries from OOo and Ubuntu

I frequently switch between two dictionaries for writing. I would like
to remove the other 20 dictionaries that I do no use from OpenOffice
and Ubuntu in general. I have found dictionaries in these places:
/opt/openoffice.org2.3/share/dict/ooo
/usr/share/myspell/dicts/

Can I just erase the dictionaries that I don't need? Will this break
anything? Are there dictionaries in other places that I can remove?
