problem with php and webcalendar

Hi,
I've installed phppgadmin and webcalendar on my server, and while phpgadmin is 
working fine, webcalendar asks me for download a file .phtml each time I try 
to load the index.php. The strange thing is that if I point my browser to 
webcalendar/install/index.php it works! So only webcalendar/index.php is not 
working. I've cheked the permission, and the scripts and the directories are 
readable and executable by others.
Any idea?
