Hi,
I've got a problem with my fresh installation of Ubuntu 7.10.
I'm a complete Linux newbie, so apologs if you find my problem dramatically easy;-)
For some strange reason the icon of "nm-applet 0.6.5" network manager that I use to select and connect to a wireless network stopped to appear in the top-right part of my desktop ("taskbar"?), and I do not know how to redisplay it to see all available wireless networks. When I run ubuntu from "live-cd" it works ok, but the problem is when I start OS from the hard-drive.
How to re-enable available networks list in the top bar next to the clock? Any ideas? Thanks!
