wlan0 not ready (WAS Re: ath_pci, ndiswrapper & blacklist)

I _always_ get one of those, initially.  It doesn't mean much except that
the link _isn't_ ready.  Of course, in a little while it _should_ be ready. 
I guess yours isn't :(  Since my only atheros card was detected and worked
out of the box, I can't help there.

If ath_pci isn't showing up with "lsmod | grep ath_pci", then the fact that
ndiswrapper says it's an alternate driver doesn't matter.
