Sure, but the problem is that we can not tell _which_ files have been
replacd by your XFree86 install - you didn't even tell us where you got it.

You _could_ try "sudo aptitude reinstall ~ixorg" - it will probably do the
job, but I won't make any promises.

In future, you really shouldn't install non-Ubuntu software unless you know
what you're doing.
