Okay, so here's the specifics:
On the server, I'm running 'sudo /opt/drbl/sbin/drbl-ocs -b -q -p
choose -z1 -l en_US startdisk save'. It restarts "OCS service" for
various IP addresses in my range. I do get some unusual output here,
specifically "/opt/drbl/sbin/ocs-functions: line 3619:
/etc/drbl/drbl_deploy.conf: No such file or directory",
"/opt/drbl/sbin/ocs-functions: line 3730: /etc/drbl/drbl_deploy.conf:
No such file or directory", and "/opt/drbl/sbin/drbl-functions: line
669: /tftpboot/nodes/*/etc/inittab: No such file or directory". Then
it tells me that MENU LABEL is set up for Clonezilla, and instructs to
"Now set the client machines to boot from PXE or Etherboot".
The entire /etc/drbl directory does not exist, and no files exist
elsewhere by the name of drbl_deploy.conf. The /tftpboot/nodes/
directory exists, but is empty.
The repository I used to install DRBL is "deb
http://free.nchc.org.tw/drbl-core drbl stable".
The client does successfully get a DHCP lease from the server, but
then says "PXE-E53: No boot filename received", and exits PXE.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 as the server. The clients are Dell Optiplex 330.
Thoughts I what I should try next? In addition to e-mail, I can be
found on IRC as tonyyarusso on Freenode, in various Ubuntu channels.
