firestarter start failure?(Solved, sort of)

That's what I concluded.

Yes. It's eth0 as it should be. The problem disappeared when I uninstalled 
then reinstalled the app. It's now is back to starting at boot. This, of 
course, does'nt tell me what the cause was but it's as good as it's going 
to get.

I hate it when I fix a problem and don't know why it worked.
