I'm using an Iriver T3. I think your player might need a package
called mtp-tools from the repositories in order to put or browse files
on it. That software works with Amarok as well, it uses it as a
transport layer.

Once in a while, there are problems finding all the tracks, and when
tracks are deleted it leaves header information in the player (like
the folder or directory name) making it difficult to navigate when on
the road. But an occasional format of the player cleans that up
quickly - I've just done the format one time to clean up the mess.
Amarok has had trouble in the past keeping track of all the songs as
well on the hard drive (at least in debian). I haven't used it enough
in Ubuntu HH to see if that behavior is improved.
