Xen on 8.04 removes GUI

I have tried to install Xen 3.2 on two systems with (K)ubunto 8.04.

On both systems I cannot boot Dom0 with the xen-kernel into GDM or KDM. 
It just ends the boot-sequence in a black screen when the graphical part 
of the boot-process starts.
