Sadly, I have to agree with you.
For me its wireless networking with my Intel 3945 card. I can only
occasionally connect to networks, but if I do connect I get speeds
about 90% lower than Windows. Though I have to assume that it is a
kernel problem, I boot more often into Windows since I upgraded.

I don't like saying it, but especially for this release as a "long
term release" its sad that so many problems have arisen for me. I'm
looking forward to a new kernel version, or a new release from Ubuntu
or Fedora (which I have chosen as an alternate option for me...)

Anyhow, enough 'bout my problem...
