I could do better, but probably not as fast.  That is, after talking with 
the customer I could reduce the false positives very, very quickly, 
probably to zero.  I could also do better on selecting which passphrases 
to test, that is which are good candidates.  

So although my implementation would probably be much slower on a keys per 
second basis, it would probably be much faster in total time used to 
obtain the passphrase.  

It is likely that the original poster doesn't really have anything 
important to recover.  In that case any fee would be too expensive.  

If this is the case, OP, try the free tool.  It can't hurt.
