For the benefit of anyone else reading this: this is a bad idea, since
you cannot simply decide that you "will not need any" support. If the
machine is in any way connected to an untrusted network such as the
internet, having security updates is a very, very, very good idea. E.g.,
serious exploits for Firefox _were_ found and hat to be patched by
updates.
