Joining two separate Evolution mail backups from the same account

I got two separate backups for my Evolution mails. One backup consist of mails from April 2008 and earlier; another backup file are mails from May-June2008. Both mails are from the same pop mail account I have configured for Evolution. Anyone has any idea how to put them together after I have recently installed the newest Ubuntu?

Depends what you're really after, there's GNOME device manager based on
HAL, which is in the repositories.

This is a GNOME program to manage devices and device drivers. It's
inspired by hal-device-manager, from the HAL project, but rewritten in C
for efficiency and an outlook to actually make it manage devices rather
than just show information.

If this isn't it, let the list know what you want to do and somebody
might be able to point you in the right direction.

I am new to Ubuntu and Linux and need a little help.

I used synaptic to get virtualbox and there seemed to be many options.
I am at the point where I have made a blank virtual drive and now I want
to start it and in stall xp in it. I press start and then it tells me
that the right Ctrl button gets me out -- OK

then I get the following error message.

"
VirtualBox kernel driver not installed. The vboxdrv kernel module was
either not loaded or /dev/vboxdrv was not created for some reason.
Please install the virtualbox-ose-modules package for your kernel, e.g.
virtualbox-ose-modules-generic..
VBox status code: -1908 (VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED).

Result Code:
0x80004005
Component:
Console
Interface:
IConsole {1dea5c4b-0753-4193-b909-22330f64ec45}

 "
I then tried to reinstall "virtualbox-ose-modules-generic.." to see
if
this would help but no it is still the same error message.

any Ideas about what I should do next would be greatly appreciated.

download the virtualbox-ose-modules-generic

first you need check your kernel version: uname -a and then take the
numbers like: 2.6.24-16-generic, after that download the package:

sudo apt-get install virtualbox-ose-modules-generic-2.6.24-16-generic

cheers,

You might want to join this bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdenetwork/+bug/231315

FWIW: I haven't experienced the problem (yet) on Hardy. However, I now
primarily use Terminal Server Client because I can get a decent mouse
cursor, whereas in krdc I only get a tiny black square.

I'm a member of the Ubuntu Server team and I'll raise this issue at our
next weekly meeting (we just had our meeting 30 minutes ago).

If there are specific concerns that you wish to raise, can you please
email me with the concern and a reference and I'll endeavour to put
together a statement which I'll post here before I take it to the Ubuntu
Server team.

Maybe that's what I'm experiencing with xmms as well? under 8.04 it has

unresolvable dependencies and wont install

Try another approach. Right click on a media file you want associated with vlc
and choose properties. Then goto the open with tab and add or mark vlc there.
That should do it.

Strange they changed that in 8.04. I just did an

sudo apt-get install sysinfo

and that does the job

Hi,
Ubuntu 7.10 and Xen has been a bit painfull for me.
Does some user have experience on setting up an HVM Windows XP guest on
a Ubuntu 8.04 host?
Could that one please post some feedback of the setup?
