Broken disk partition -- please help

I highly appreciate your replies to this post. But unfortunately,
* ntfsprogs toolkit identifies the partition as ntfs but fails to recover
* And the each time i puth the windows cd, it asks (the usual stupid
question) to format the volume even when i try to install windows in another
partition :(

Anyhow, thank you very much for your effort to help me.
