Suspend

Hey Everyone. I have Ubuntu 8.04 installed on my Compaq Presario C300
Series, and it will not suspend correctly or hibernate correctly. Everytime
I hit the suspend button, it suspends fine, but then on resume it displays
the password login screen and is frozen. Anyone know how to fix this? thanks
