Ah yesss. Sorry to answer so late. This one is certainly one cause, 
which has been corrected. My kernel is now 2.6.24.17 as is my vb. Still 
the same. However now it may make sense to try the uninstall/reinstall 
game. I'll post my results, as soon as I tried it.
