Maybe this [1] is a nice way of putting it ;)
I do think that there are some people around, that think that it is
hard to install Linux/Ubuntu. That was always a point that daunted me
when I started Linux and it still does when I'm working and try again
to set up my server =/
Stability and Performance are other points that are interesting. Maybe
compare two old PCs, one running Windows (98/2000/XP) and the other
running Ubuntu/Xubuntu. Show people that they don't HAVE to upgrade
their PC just to get the newest stuff (Vista....). Tell them, that it
is OK to leave a PC running 24/7 (besides the power consumption ;) )
for a year and only reboot for some (kernel) updates... Linux/Ubuntu
doesn't degrade performance-wise over time.
