new guy has mount point issues

On "that other OS" this is matter of a single keystroke (or mouse click).
No need to ask on some list. Then read a 6 page manual...
Just click and enter the new name.

Just to think. (mostly for those who wonder, why 99% of people uses
"that other OS").
