Quod Libet/Ex Falso's CPU-usage when editing tags

Is there a way to disable the suggestions when editing tags in Quod 
Libet / Ex Falso? I've got an audio-collection of more than 50000 files, 
and the CPU-power needed to edit tags is simply ridiculous.

This is what happens when I change the composer-tag of a single song:

This on an AMD 4850e (2.5 GHz).
