I take it there's still problems with the latest VMWare Server (32 bit,
from tgz) beta on Hardy?

I downloaded the beta current as of an hour or so ago...ran the
installer, it removed the previous beta and ran through its own
routines. It still had errors with some modules:

Using 2.6.x kernel build system.

The vsock module loads perfectly into the running kernel.

You have already setup networking.

Would you like to skip networking setup and keep your old settings as
they are?
(yes/no) [yes]

....

  sudo /etc/init.d/vmware status
Bridged networking on /dev/vmnet0 is running
Host network detection is not running
Module vmmon loaded
Module vmnet loaded

****

Nothing seems to be running on http://localhost to monitor or control
local VM's.

:-(

Others having these troubles on latest updated version of Ubuntu Hardy?
