I don't know the situation, haven't looked, not investing the time...but
as long as he's asking for help in a civil tone right now and not being
a prick about it, we should probably just acknowledge "you did XYZ that
you probably shouldn't have, but here's some pointers now" at this stage
in the game, yeah?
Not that you're doing anything horrible at the moment but I can see that
it may be interpreted as such and start a fight that we don't need on
the list while he's being nice enough right now. And I'm putting this in
the public list instead of private because it seems to be something that
happens with all of us sometimes :-)
