The current one. Often they're done on betas leading up to release and
that way the book release coincides as closely as possible to the gold
master ready for release so the information is mostly accurate, then
errata is published on a website for clarifications and corrections.
The basics don't change, the specifics usually are slightly altered, and
if you're running a *server*, you should be versed well enough to know
that something is amiss and be able to work it out from the information
at hand or know how to look up missing bits for corrections.
As has been said the basics don't normally change. The specifics on how
to accomplish the alterations, the "Ubuntu way", they can alter slightly.
