usb drives don't mount anymore

Hi everyone;
I've sent this message a couple of days ago and I'm really interested
in solving this problem. So far I was asked to run lspci, but with no
further help. I'm new to the list, so maybe something like this was
discussed before. Any helpful comment or pointer is highly welcome.

Sorry if this is not the right place to write, also a tip on a better
mailing list for this issue is welcome.
