Hi Davide
Thanks for your feedback and yes, I forgot to mention:
I am always willing to pay a reasonable fee for what I like ! :-)

I do not and I am not willing pay horrible M$ fees just for their
cosmetic modifications over years and without providing
serious data compatibility and portability !! ;-)

JPilot indeed seems to be quite familiar with Linux:
It's already integrated in Ubuntu applications and as a newbie
I assume it's been tested and working reliable !? ;-)

The question now is:
How good is it really ???
How many face problems ??
How many are problem-less happy ?

Well, I / we may easy complain if something isn't working !
Well, I / we may not give any feedbacks if it's working like a charm !!

What I, at least, expect, especially in this case, with JPilot:
Top serious Backup and Restore functions !!!
Additional features are welcome but only on a base well working !!
But we all know: More features and functions = more complicate !

I better stop here with my longwinding 2cents !

How are your experience/s with syncml ?

Hava cool week, cheers
svobi
