Computer freeze!

Ok I found dmesg log with about the time it happened. At the end of the file
I found these two lines, is it normal? 'Resume from disk failed' 'EXT3-fs:
INFO: recovery required on read only file system'
I also see virtual kernel memory layout and a really stupid question what is
it? Except that it was interrupting everything so I guess that when I shut
it down.
(I think it would be difficult to bring the PC back since I removed its
system to install Ubuntu, and add some DDR2 inside.)
