Computer freeze!

First, if your PC "completely freezes" then absolutely happens; not
"some activity"; nothing. This is usually the result of hardware
failure. If this is the case, take it back to where you bought it --
or a repair shop you trust -- and ask them to test it thorougly
Ergo,if there is "some activity", then it hasn't completely stopped;
just some subsystem, such as X. Sometimes by looking in the system log
file (dmesg) you can figure out where the problem is. If X is
misbehaving, pressing Ctrl-Alt-F1 to get to a console can be a useful
strategy. To get back, press Alt-Ctrl-F7.
