I think what you mean with "open" is that you can still add data to
the CD? If so, then you would have to look at the options in the CD
writing program you are using. I used to use cdrecord from the command
line, so I read in the man pages about how to do that. I think if you
use gnomebaker or nautilus or K3B you will have options that say
something to the effect of not sealing or closing the CD, or leaving
the option of adding more data later. If you tell me what program you
want to use, I can probably install it and check for you.
