frets on fire - songs stop completely after mistake

Any frets heroes on this list?

I have a little problem with frets on fire that googling has yet to solve:

When I make a mistake the song stops completely. I understanding that 
often this happens if you do not have a song.ogg to match the guitar.ogg 
in your /usr/share/games/fretsonfire/data/songs folder.

Any suggestions?
