I just stumbled onto that page.  I can make and make install the module.
 I can modprobe it and load it.

But I don't get /dev/video0 or anything.

I've been wondering that myself.

I'm working on getting a picture of the chips as Thomas Kaiser
suggested.  It wasn't hard to get apart, but my camera is having issues
focusing.
