Hi Daniele
With DFSee I did shrink from 80GB to max 40GB and 
it was the same condition you just mentioned now:
Windows wasn't running !

Is gparted really working differently ?

I am just downloading and then burning the CD and 
will give a try as soon as possible. ;-)
